We are partnering with FoodShare to provide high-quality fruit and vegetables to our low-income neighbors and support local farmers.
We need volunteers to help distribute the boxes and small groups to host cookouts once a month.

How does Foodshare SC Work?
FoodShare South Carolina is an organization that works to ensure access to fresh produce for all in our communities. CTR is partnering with FoodShare to help distribute boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables every other week. How it works is anyone who is interested in receiving a box can pre-order it with the Pickens FoodShare Hub. These boxes have a $20 value, but are made available for $5 with SNAP EBT. Pickens FoodShare Hub orders the produce and packs the boxes. CTR then hands the boxes out to those who pre-ordered them on distribution days. This is a great opportunity to literally feed a need in the community and begin to connect with and get to know those in our surrounding community.
